A law firm seeks a highly motivated senior associate or counsel to join its Class Action group. This role involves handling complex and innovative class action litigation, providing the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases alongside a collaborative team of skilled employment law professionals. The position is based in a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility and work-life balance.

Duties

  • Defend class action lawsuits involving:
    • Employment discrimination
    • Workplace privacy and EEOC/DOL matters
    • Wage and hour disputes
    • Statutory or common law privacy issues
    • Product liability and consumer fraud claims
  • Conduct legal research, draft briefs, and prepare motions.
  • Manage complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Participate in depositions, court hearings, and trials as necessary.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of substantive experience in complex litigation, preferably involving class actions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defending against class action claims in areas such as employment law, privacy law, or consumer-related disputes.
  • Strong academic credentials and superior research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing within the relevant jurisdiction.
