Associate Attorney needed for San Diego office

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload in civil litigation matters

• Prepare and respond to written discovery

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Draft and argue motions

• Prepare cases for trial

• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners throughout the case process

• Contribute to the firm’s growth by engaging in client interactions and legal organizations

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in California

• 2-6 years of civil litigation experience

• Desire to try cases and handle trial work

• Strong legal writing skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar License required

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal writing, including drafting motions and other legal documents

• Experience in civil litigation, including discovery and depositions

• Strong communication skills for client interaction and court presentations

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Interest in trial law and the willingness to take on increasing responsibility
