Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate on behalf of clients in legal proceedings, including settlements and agreements.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
  • Manage and supervise legal assistants and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and client service.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar association (Florida State Bar admission preferred for Tampa, FL).
  • Proven experience in legal research, writing, and litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
