Attorney needed for Tampa office

A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a skilled Attorney with expertise in negotiation, legal research, document drafting, and litigation. The ideal candidate will provide legal representation, advice, and guidance to clients across various legal matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Negotiate on behalf of clients in legal proceedings, including settlements and agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and motions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
• Manage and supervise legal assistants and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and client service.
• Attend client meetings and maintain communication to update clients on case developments.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on complex legal matters and case strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar association (Florida State Bar admission preferred for Tampa, FL).
• Proven experience in legal research, writing, and litigation.
• Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Education and Certifications:
