A law firm in Port Orange is seeking an Entry-level Associate Attorney to join their busy personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will be a recent Florida Bar exam pass, possess strong legal writing and research skills, and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and excel in their legal career.

 

Duties:

  • Assist senior attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Participate in case strategy meetings and client consultations.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve case objectives.
  • Continuously learn and develop legal skills under the guidance of senior attorneys.

 

Requirements:

  • Recently passed the Florida Bar exam.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to professional development.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar.
