Associate Attorney needed for Menomonee Falls office

A law firm in Menomonee Falls, WI, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in family, landlord/tenant, criminal, and guardianship law. Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of cases in family, landlord/tenant, criminal, and guardianship law.
• Meet personally with all clients to discuss case details, provide legal advice, and develop case strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics relevant to assigned cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Manage case files and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal matters.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Perform administrative and case management tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in family, landlord/tenant, criminal, and guardianship law.
• Ability to handle a high case load efficiently and effectively.
• Willingness to meet personally with all clients.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
