Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join its team. Location:

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop strategies for client representation.

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex family law matters.

• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

• Maintain organized and detailed client records, case files, and communications.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice in California and in good standing with the State Bar.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for family law or defense litigation experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized, responsible, and self-motivated.

• Excellent legal writing, research, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and strategize effectively to serve clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License in good standing.
