Job Overview:
A growing boutique immigration law firm is seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate Immigration Attorney to join its team. This position offers a unique opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, perform legal research and writing, and represent clients before USCIS and the EOIR Immigration Court. The ideal candidate should be passionate about immigration law and helping clients navigate complex legal processes.

Location:

  • Aurora, Colorado

Duties:

  • Perform legal research and draft legal documents for immigration cases.
  • Represent clients before USCIS and the EOIR Immigration Court.
  • Communicate with clients to provide case updates and legal advice.
  • Assist with various immigration matters, including family-based immigration, employment-based visas, and removal defense.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing applications, preparing petitions, and managing case files.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality client service.
  • Stay current on changes to immigration laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in any state in the U.S.
  • Self-driven and motivated with a genuine interest in immigration law.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Some experience in immigration law is preferred, but not required.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, or a willingness to learn the language.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar license in any U.S. state.

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing.
  • Client communication and case management.
  • Immigration law knowledge, including visa applications, asylum cases, and removal defense.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to legal practice.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
