Junior to Mid-Level Restructuring Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Restructuring Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. Job Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality legal documents and deliverables and respond promptly to client inquiries and correspondence.
• Adhere to firm policies and practices while maintaining ethical standards.
• Manage a diverse workload, meeting deadlines and client expectations efficiently.
• Build and maintain positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, virtual meetings, and conference calls.
• Undertake legal research, analyze complex issues, and provide sound legal advice and strategy.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by senior attorneys and partners.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Delaware.
• Minimum of 3 years of restructuring experience focusing on debtor-side representations.
• Previous experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and research skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including persuasive and influential abilities.
• Strong business judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Conceptual thinking and the ability to provide strategic legal advice.
• Management skills to handle responsibilities effectively and lead junior team members when necessary.

Certifications and Skills:

• Active Delaware bar license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy and restructuring laws and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
