The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners in the Antitrust Practice, handling a diverse range of matters, including litigation, mergers, government investigations, and counseling matters.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with partners on antitrust cases, providing legal analysis, research, and strategic input.
  • Manage and participate in all aspects of litigation, from case initiation to resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research on antitrust issues, keeping abreast of relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Provide counsel on antitrust implications for mergers, acquisitions, and business practices.
  • Assist in responding to government antitrust investigations and inquiries.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of significant antitrust experience.
  • Solid understanding of antitrust principles and their application in various legal contexts.
  • Preferably possess litigation skills, demonstrating the ability to handle cases independently.
  • Undergraduate coursework in economics is a plus, showcasing a strong foundation in economic principles relevant to antitrust matters.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate legal strategies and arguments.
  • Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar.
