Job Details:

  • Taking and defending depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts as part of the discovery process.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
  • Led mediations to facilitate settlement negotiations between parties involved in personal injury disputes.
  • Developing comprehensive case strategies tailored to each client's unique situation and legal objectives.
  • Handling all aspects of trial preparation and representation, including presenting evidence, examining witnesses, and making legal arguments in court.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.
  • Experience drafting and responding to motions.
  • Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
