Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for San Francisco office

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with expertise in complex finance transactions to join their San Francisco, CA team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in deal teams, managing fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.

Job Overview:

• Serve as a key member of deal teams, taking charge of essential transactional elements.
• Provide expertise in sponsor-backed leveraged finance and handle various finance transactions.
• Represent borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee due diligence processes for transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance transactions.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions.
• Significant experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance preferred.
• Proven track record representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents.
• Must be licensed and in good standing in California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of finance law and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
