Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Philadelphia, PA, is looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of litigation experience, with a focus on a wide range of practice areas including general liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, and employment law. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to various fields of litigation while providing expert counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Represent clients throughout all stages of litigation, including initiation, discovery, and trial, in cases related to general liability, professional liability, and employment claims.
• Manage caseloads and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful case outcomes.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients, keeping them informed throughout the litigation process.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and handle alternative dispute resolution processes as required.
• Ensure timely and effective case management, adhering to deadlines and court procedures.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of litigation experience.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Extensive experience in general liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, construction defect, casualty, labor, and employment law is highly preferred.
• Experience in insurance defense litigation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with colleagues.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Lexis software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar is required.
