Job Overview:
A prominent law firm seeks an experienced Technical Advisor to join its growing Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group, focusing on Electrical Engineering & Software. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a team handling complex patent cases, with a specific emphasis on wireless communications technologies.

Duties:

• Assist attorneys in patent prosecution and litigation processes related to electrical engineering and software technologies.
• Conduct technical analysis of patents, provide technical reports, and support patent application drafting.
• Analyze and interpret various technologies, including wireless communication systems and their standards.
• Collaborate with patent attorneys and clients to formulate strategic approaches for patent filings and litigation.
• Review technical documents and assist in developing legal strategies based on technical insights.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in electrical engineering and software fields, especially wireless communication technologies such as 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience or familiarity with wireless communication technologies, particularly 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable terms.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset.

Education:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline.
