The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cases from intake through trial, developing case strategies, and advocating on behalf of clients in court. Duties

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through to trial or settlement.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and counsel.
  • Lead and defend depositions and other discovery-related tasks.
  • Research, draft, and respond to motions.
  • Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop case strategies in collaboration with other attorneys and staff.
  • Present cases before a jury, with an emphasis on achieving favorable outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Demonstrated success as 1st chair in jury trials.
  • Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Alabama State Bar.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the state of Alabama.
