Duties

  • Prepare wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and guide on insurance and retirement planning matters

  • Maintain accurate and organized client files, ensuring up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and craft tailored estate plans

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in estate planning and probate law
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in sensitive or high-stress environments
  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning documents, trusts, and probate law
  • Familiarity with real estate law, including title insurance and property management
  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
  • Juris Doctor degree required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Undergraduate degree with a focus on legal studies

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas
