Duties:

• Compose legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda

• Perform comprehensive legal research and interpret relevant statutes and case law

• Attend and participate in legal proceedings such as hearings, mediations, and, where appropriate, depositions and trials

• Collaborate on case strategies with supervising attorneys and team members

• Negotiate and structure settlement agreements

• Manage active caseload and maintain precise documentation of case status and client interaction

• Engage in regular communication with clients to provide updates and guidance

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing civil litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases independently

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

• Commitment to high standards of ethics and professional conduct

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal writing, motion drafting, and research

• Comfortable with courtroom procedures and litigation processes

• Strong organizational habits and time management
