Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in criminal and civil litigation, with a focus on advocating for clients in both criminal defense and civil matters. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in criminal defense and civil litigation matters from intake to resolution
  • Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including trial preparation and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Develop case strategies, engage in client counseling, and conduct negotiations
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient case management and timely resolution
  • Provide guidance to junior associates and support staff as necessary

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience in criminal and/or civil matters
  • Strong courtroom presence and experience handling hearings, trials, and client interactions
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to independently manage cases and maintain a diverse caseload
  • Active Georgia Bar license (Required)

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Georgia Bar
