Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including cannabis law disputes, regulatory compliance issues, licensing challenges, and intellectual property litigation
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop case strategies
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to business development, including client outreach, marketing efforts, and networking events
  • Stay updated on cannabis law developments and related areas of law

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the CO state bar (or relevant jurisdiction) and in good standing
  • Minimum of three years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in business development and maintaining client relationships is a plus

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
