Duties:

• Manage pre-trial proceedings, including discovery, motion practice, court conferences, and depositions.

• Draft legal documents such as bill of particulars, pleadings, discovery motions, and appellate briefs.

• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

• Handle client intake and conduct interviews related to contracts.

• Manage and settle disputes effectively.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Keep partners updated on case developments in a timely manner.

• Exercise sound legal and business judgment.

• Support a collaborative team environment and demonstrate leadership skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Member in good standing of the New York State Bar.

• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
