The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in employment law, with a strong background in both litigation and counseling. Key Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to employers regarding compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Draft, review, and revise employment-related documents, including agreements, handbooks, and policies.

  • Handle various employment litigation matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.
  • Advise clients on labor relations, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Stay current on developments in employment law and provide proactive legal advice to clients.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients on topics such as harassment prevention and compliance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in employment law, including litigation and counseling.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • A book of business is a plus, but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
