Job Overview:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in various areas, including Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law Litigation, and Business Law. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients with their estate planning needs and possess strong experience in the relevant areas of law. Applicants must be licensed in Missouri or eligible for reciprocity.

Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and services in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, and Business Law
  • Assist clients with drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related legal documents
  • Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters
  • Advise clients on legal matters relating to asset protection and business succession planning
  • Handle Elder Law litigation cases as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and client files
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive and effective legal representation for clients

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri or eligible for reciprocity
  • Experience in Estate Planning and/or Probate is preferred
  • Strong ability to manage multiple cases and client interactions
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri (or eligible for reciprocity)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Strong drafting and legal writing abilities
  • Knowledge of Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate law
  • Ability to handle estate administration and probate matters
