Key Duties:

• Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including overseeing discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute case strategies.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and strategic planning meetings.
• Stay informed about relevant legal developments and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex cases.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation is preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
• Enthusiasm for appearing in court and handling diverse litigation matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
