Job Overview: A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking a skilled Business Law/Transactions Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its Albany office. Location:

Duties:

  • Provide high-quality legal counsel in Business Law/Transactions, including handling a wide range of business and corporate matters.

  • Manage and lead teams of associates, offering guidance and support as needed.

  • Build and foster strong client relationships, working directly with clients on business transactions.

  • Assist with drafting and negotiating contracts, business agreements, and corporate documents.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth handling of legal matters.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management to meet business goals and client expectations.

  • Manage multiple matters and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Law/Transactions.

  • Ability to build rapport with clients and manage client relationships effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and clients.

  • Strong oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and business professionals.

  • Experience leading teams and troubleshooting challenges is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar.
