A prominent law firm in Miami Lakes, FL, is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. This position is ideal for an attorney with a strong background in personal injury law and a proven record of success in managing complex cases from inception to trial. The role requires expertise in trial advocacy, case management, and team leadership, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients in serious and catastrophic injury cases.

Duties:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, from initial filing through to trial and verdict.
• Manage and supervise a team of litigation assistants, paralegals, and case managers.
• Screen potential litigation clients and assess case viability.
• Prepare for and actively participate in mediations and trials.
• Conduct interviews, depositions, and examinations of witnesses.
• Advocate for clients during trials and in pre-trial motions.
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys to ensure effective case handling and compliance with legal standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and staff.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in personal injury law or a related legal field.
• At least 7 first-chair trials to verdict in personal injury matters.
• An active member of the Florida Bar.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service, professionalism, and case management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
