A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience in defense litigation to join its team. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, including personal injury, premises liability, and workers’ compensation matters while contributing to a collaborative and client-focused legal practice.

Duties

  • Manage and handle a variety of defense litigation cases, including personal injury, premises liability, and workers’ compensation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare pleadings for litigation.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic legal approaches.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and case records, ensuring compliance with firm and legal standards.

Requirements

  • 2-7+ years of experience in defense litigation.
  • Experience handling personal injury, premises liability, and workers’ compensation cases is preferred.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively.
  • Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the state bar where the position is located (required).
