The successful applicant will take ownership of a caseload, working closely with clients to navigate legal processes and find solutions that align with their best interests.

Duties

• Manage and build a personal caseload within family law matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, attorneys, judicial staff, and colleagues.
• Handle all aspects of trial preparation, including attending and conducting trials.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Perform legal research and apply Arizona law to optimize clients' positions.
• Identify, gather, and develop case-relevant information.
• File and prepare basic legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure, Local Rules, and Arizona Rules of Evidence.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Family Law (Preferred).
• Strong familiarity with Arizona family law, including the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure.
• Comfort with courtroom procedures and trial advocacy.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• A high level of integrity and professionalism.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona (Active Bar Membership required).

Skills

• Expertise in Family Law and Arizona family law procedures.
