Trial Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in Denver, CO, seeks a highly skilled Trial Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling all phases of general liability and complex commercial and civil litigation matters. This role requires a proficient attorney with a proven trial track record, exceptional research and writing skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee all phases of general liability and complex commercial and civil litigation matters.
• Conduct comprehensive discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests and taking and defending depositions of parties and experts.
• Represent clients effectively in court, demonstrating strong trial skills.
• Prepare and present compelling arguments and legal strategies in settlement negotiations and trial settings.
• Research and analyze legal issues and draft detailed legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality legal services.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to strategize and execute case plans.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-6 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for experience on the defense side.
• Proven experience with at least three first-chair trials.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
• Demonstrated ability to handle all discovery and litigation phases with attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in the state of California.
