Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Georgia-based practice group in Atlanta. This role offers the chance to engage in a wide array of legal services with a focus on real estate, civil litigation, and creditors’ rights. Duties

  • Manage cases involving real estate law, creditors’ rights, and civil litigation, including:
    • Title and lien priority disputes.
    • Foreclosure and eviction processes.
    • Claims under TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.
  • Represent clients in court appearances and hearings, with occasional travel required.
  • Draft, file, and argue motions with a solid grounding in civil procedure and motions practice.
  • Utilize case management software to actively monitor and advance assigned matters.
  • Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in real estate law, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practices.
  • Strong understanding of title claims, lien priority, foreclosure, and related legal practices.
  • Commitment to superior client care and professional communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Georgia State Bar membership is mandatory.
  • Additional bar memberships are advantageous but not required.
