Duties:

• Manage and assist with complex civil litigation matters, working closely with senior attorneys.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Handle case discovery, medical records, and employment records analysis.
• Represent clients in court, including appearances, depositions, and meetings.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing status updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation, professional liability defense, and/or medical malpractice.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Strong interpersonal, oral advocacy, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle a high volume of legal work efficiently and effectively.
• Experience with insurance defense litigation is preferred.
• Familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is advantageous.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
