Duties:

  • Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediation.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on diverse legal matters.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including managing case files and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in commercial, real estate, intellectual property, and/or employment litigation.
  • Strong experience in negotiating settlements and handling dispute resolution.
  • Proficiency in legal research, including using Westlaw and other research tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership and good standing with the State Bar (required).

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in preparing for trials and conducting legal motions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
