Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will primarily focus on corporate, real estate, and banking matters, requiring extensive knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, legal advocacy skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of real estate law, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, financing, construction, litigation, tax-deferred exchanges, and title matters.
  • Draft and negotiate various documents, such as commercial purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, guaranty agreements, and estate-related joint venture agreements.
  • Review titles and surveys and handle permitting, zoning, and development matters, with a preference for experience in energy and renewable energy projects.
  • Possess familiarity with bond finance structures.
  • Engage in direct client contact, integrating legal advice into business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate, real estate, and banking law.
  • A Florida Bar license is required.
  • Additional licenses in other states are a plus.
  • Strong academic credentials, including confidence, legal advocacy skills, and satisfaction from working in a team environment.
  • Experience with commercial real estate transactions and drafting/negotiating related documents.
  • Strong technology skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Florida Bar license.
