IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience, exceptional legal writing skills, and a proactive approach to handling complex intellectual property cases.

Job Duties:

• Independently manage law and motion practice independently and under a senior attorney's supervision.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests in intellectual property litigation matters.
• Conduct depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Make court appearances and argue motions as required.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal memoranda.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and management.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, California, and Local Rules of Court.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in intellectual property law.
• Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Strong legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Demonstrated experience in legal research and drafting responses to discovery requests.
• Passion for litigation and a strong desire to work in intellectual property law.
• Knowledge of Federal, California, and Local Rules of Court governing litigation procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with clients, colleagues, and the court.
• Proven initiative, attention to detail, and efficient management of multiple priorities.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
