The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction law, including contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution. They will work closely with clients to ensure their construction projects comply with legal requirements and effectively manage any legal issues that arise.

 

Duties:

  • Handle contract negotiation, risk management, bid protests, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution for construction projects.
  • Advise clients on construction-related contracts, regulatory compliance issues, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain a portable book of business and cultivate client relationships.
  • Provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced and collegial environment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or willingness to become a member of The Florida Bar in the near future.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing construction law.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in contract negotiation and dispute resolution in the construction industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
