A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Providence office, with a focus on domestic relations and family law matters. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative and supportive environment, handling all stages of litigation from client consultations to courtroom advocacy.

Duties

  • Represent clients in various domestic relations litigation matters, including but not limited to family law cases.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand case details and strategize effective legal solutions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Participate actively in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, discovery, mediation, and trial proceedings.
  • Engage with a team of skilled litigators to provide high-quality legal representation and exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • Admission to practice law in Rhode Island (mandatory).
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Dedication to providing excellent client service and fostering positive client relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Rhode Island State Bar License (Required).
  • Massachusetts State Bar License (Preferred but not required).
