Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation
• Draft legal documents and pleadings with precision and minimal supervision
• Analyze case facts and develop litigation strategies
• Participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes
• Manage a caseload from case inception through trial or resolution
• Attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and counsel
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in first-party property insurance claims
• FL Bar admission (Required)
• Trial experience (Preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida Bar License (Required)
