Job Overview:
A prestigious and technology-driven law firm is seeking an experienced Professional Liability Associate Attorney to join its Litigation team in the Atlanta office. Location:

Duties:

  • Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations
  • Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
  • Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
  • Maintain regular communication with paralegals, legal assistants, and clients
  • Contribute to the firm’s vision of becoming a nationally recognized insurance law firm known for legal expertise and innovation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high level of customer service

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience representing licensed professionals in litigation matters
  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently
  • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse clientele, colleagues, and staff
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with database management systems is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia
