Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Rockville, MD, is currently seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney. This full-time role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in estate planning and administration, providing an excellent environment for professional growth. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and clients on a variety of estate planning matters, real estate, and business transactions, including LLC and corporate formation.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in estate planning and administration
• Assist in preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
• Work on business transactions, including the formation of LLCs, corporations, and partnerships
• Guide clients on matters involving real estate transactions
• Collaborate directly with senior attorneys for case strategy and client management
• Maintain and build strong client relationships
• Support clients in navigating estate and trust administration, including probate processes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estate planning and/or estate administration
• Maryland Bar license required (Virginia or DC Bar a plus)
• Experience in business and real estate law preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• The Maryland Bar license required
• Virginia and DC Bar licenses preferred
• LL.M. (Master of Laws) in estate planning is a plus

Skills:
