A law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking a Junior Securities Litigation Associate Attorney to join its broker dealer litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services and/or employment law, strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and be admitted to the Florida Bar.

Duties

  • Assist in all aspects of securities litigation matters, particularly in broker dealer litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Analyze and review discovery and other evidentiary materials.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in securities litigation or related fields.
  • Experience with financial services and/or employment law preferred.
  • Stellar academic credentials.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
