Job Title: Junior Estate Planning/Trust Administration Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Estate Planning/Trust Administration Attorney to join their team in Campbell, CA. The ideal candidate will assist clients with preparing and administrating estate planning documents and trust management, ensuring their wishes are accurately represented and legally sound.

Duties:

  • Prepare Revocable Trusts and Irrevocable Trusts
  • Draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, and related legal documents
  • Conduct meetings with clients to understand their estate planning needs and wishes
  • Facilitate client meetings to execute estate plans and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle trust asset allocations and sub-trust funding, including deeds and related forms
  • Prepare and manage Affidavits and coordinate with appraisers
  • Oversee probate proceedings from commencement to final distribution
  • Draft petitions and attend hearings related to internal trust affairs in local courts

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Strong ability to function at a high level of performance
  • Being a California Notary Public is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of California
  • California Notary Public certification is advantageous
