A reputable law firm based in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an entry-level Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. You will have the opportunity to manage your caseload, assist clients, and develop your legal skills under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on various immigration-related issues and offer strategic solutions
• Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
• Manage a diverse caseload and ensure timely case progression
• Conduct intakes and meet with detained individuals at immigration detention centers
• Prepare immigration applications, including family-based petitions and removal defense cases
• Review and revise immigration applications and supporting documentation as needed
• Engage with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations regarding immigration law changes
• Conduct consultations with potential clients to determine case strategy
• Develop and execute strategies for client and witness preparation for court or USCIS testimony
• Prepare legal briefs and documentation for various immigration cases
• Provide legal analysis to assess case strengths and potential benefits for clients

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership (candidates awaiting admission will also be considered)
• Demonstrated interest in immigration law, ideally from law school clinics, internships, or volunteer work
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience with case management software is an advantage

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission (candidates awaiting admission will also be considered)
