A law firm in Bala Cynwyd is seeking a Litigation Attorney with over 6 years of experience to handle complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess significant responsibility for matter management, exceptional analytical and writing skills, and strong communication abilities. Experience as a first or second chair trial attorney is preferred.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct depositions, prepare and answer pleadings, handle discovery, and draft motions and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court, including presenting oral arguments and engaging in trial preparation.
  • Analyze complex legal issues in a detailed and organized manner.
  • Interact effectively with clients, professional staff, and peers, providing strategic legal counsel and updates.
  • Prepare detailed legal research and written reports to support litigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case-related tasks.
  • Develop and execute case strategies and manage all aspects of case preparation and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Bar (additional bar admissions are a plus).
  • Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex litigation, including taking depositions, preparing pleadings and discovery, and drafting motions and briefs.
  • First or second chair trial experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and research abilities, with a proven track record of drafting effective motions, briefs, and legal documents.
  • Excellent oral advocacy skills, with experience presenting arguments and handling courtroom procedures.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and present detailed, organized legal arguments.

  • Proficiency in managing multiple cases simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
