Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a mid-level or senior-level associate to join its Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation practice. This role involves working with high-net-worth individuals and families, advising on estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and fiduciary administration. The position offers the opportunity to work in a highly ranked, collaborative, and sophisticated practice group.

Location:

  • Naples, FL

Duties:

  • Draft a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, trust agreements, and related instruments.
  • Advise individuals and families on trust structures and wealth transfer tax strategies.
  • Design business succession strategies for clients.
  • Counsel fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts.
  • Prepare and review federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Conduct estate, trust, and tax-related research and writing.
  • Support litigation matters related to wills, trusts, and fiduciary administration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in trusts and estates law (higher levels of experience will also be considered).
  • Strong experience drafting key legal documents for trusts and estates matters.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Strong written communication and drafting abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and be in good standing.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
