A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Antitrust Associate to join its expanding practice in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience handling transactional antitrust matters, including HSR filings, deal counseling, and merger investigations with regulatory agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on transactional antitrust issues, including merger investigations and compliance with HSR regulations.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support antitrust matters and client needs.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to antitrust issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to develop effective strategies for navigating antitrust regulations.
  • Assist in representing clients during investigations by federal and state regulatory agencies.
  • Stay informed on antitrust laws and trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in antitrust law, particularly in transactional matters.
  • Strong background in HSR filings and merger investigations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the bar of Washington, D.C.
