Senior Litigation Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior litigation attorney with 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on business litigation and/or employment defense. The candidate will handle a diverse caseload of complex business litigation and employment defense matters. Will conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development. Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Conduct and defend depositions of facts and expert witnesses. Prepare and argue motions, including dispositive motions and motions in limine. Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods when appropriate. Prepare for and serve as a first-chair attorney in civil trials and arbitrations. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding litigation risks and strategies. Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services. Must have Admission to the California State Bar with a clean disciplinary record. Should have a proven track record of drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and serving as first-chair in civil trials. Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and substantive law in the areas of business litigation and employment defense is required.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must have excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and oral communication abilities are needed. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively is required. Should have strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Must have the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
