A Lake Worth, FL, law firm seeks a dedicated and results-driven Pre-Suit Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its team. This role requires an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to advocating for injured individuals. The ideal candidate will guide clients through the early stages of their personal injury claims, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with medical professionals and experts to build strong cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Advocacy & Case Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their injuries, medical treatment, and legal options.
  • Negotiation & Settlement: Engage in direct negotiations with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel to secure favorable resolutions for clients.
  • Legal Research & Writing: Draft demand packages, case evaluations, and legal documents with strong attention to detail and persuasive argumentation.
  • Case Review & Strategy Development: Assess new cases, provide informed recommendations to clients, and determine the best course of action for each claim.
  • Collaboration with Medical & Industry Experts: Work closely with medical professionals and other specialists to analyze reports, prepare depositions, and strengthen case arguments.
  • Participation in Statements & Examinations: Attend recorded statements, Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and other key proceedings to advocate for clients.
  • Client Intake & On-Call Responsibilities: Assist with screening potential new clients and participate in an on-call rotation to address inquiries from prospective clients.
  • Networking & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with medical providers and industry experts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active license and good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • Minimum of one year of experience handling pre-litigation personal injury cases on the plaintiff’s side.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft demand letters, negotiate settlements, review case files, and provide legal guidance to clients.
  • Experience signing up new clients and conducting initial case assessments.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling legal arguments.
  • Familiarity with personal injury case procedures, including recorded statements and EUOs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Attorneys with an existing portable caseload will receive priority consideration.
