Duties:

  • Provide exceptional legal counsel to clients navigating family conflicts, focusing on building a vision for their future.
  • Empower clients to make informed decisions regarding their family life transitions, from separation to child custody.
  • Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediation, and other legal forums as needed, always prioritizing their best interests.
  • Collaborate with a diverse, remote team to provide holistic solutions, integrating legal strategies with outside resources such as coaches and counselors.
  • Stay connected with clients throughout the entire process, ensuring their needs are met, and they are equipped with knowledge about their options.
  • Act as a positive representative of the firm, attracting new clients and colleagues through your professionalism and dedication.
  • Lead by example within the firm and the broader legal community, promoting a client-first approach to family law.
  • Balance client empowerment with efficient legal practices, reducing unnecessary conflict and focusing on collaborative resolutions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Colorado Family Law, specifically handling complex family disputes.
  • Ability to think creatively and build solutions that address both legal and personal challenges for clients.
  • Strong empathy and communication skills, with a focus on understanding clients’ emotional and legal needs.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working in a team, even in a remote setting.
  • Independent and self-sufficient, able to manage caseloads while knowing when to seek assistance.
  • Tech-savvy, and comfortable with technology tools that enable efficient communication and service delivery.
  • Strong ethical compass, with a commitment to serving clients with integrity and professionalism.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent client service and committed to making a real difference in people's lives.
  • An active member of the Colorado Bar in good standing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Colorado Bar in good standing.
