We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil litigation law firm for a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney in the Northern New Jersey area. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience handling large personal injury caseloads. The firm offers a supportive and collegial environment, along with competitive benefits.

Duties:

  • Manage a large caseload of personal injury matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and ensure timely case progression.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their personal injury claims.
  • Conduct depositions, gather evidence, and work closely with medical professionals and other experts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience handling personal injury cases.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (or the ability to obtain admission).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
