Junior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Junior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney with 2+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking and defending expert and witness depositions, drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters, and developing client relationships through oral and written communication. The position requires a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school, California Bar licensure, experience in a billable work environment, and superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.

Duties:

• Take and defend expert and witness depositions.
• Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters.
• Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties.
• Develop client relationships through oral and written communication.
• Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• 2+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience.
• Experience in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence.
• Experience in a billable work environment.
• Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.

Certifications:

California State Bar license.
