Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team in West Baltimore, MD. This full-time position provides the opportunity to represent injured clients, manage cases from intake to trial, and work within a collaborative environment focused on delivering outstanding legal services. The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience and a deep understanding of Maryland personal injury law, along with a passion for achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Duties:

• Case Management: Collect and organize all necessary documentation, evidence, and information for personal injury claims.
• Litigation and Trial Work: Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. Represent clients in District and Circuit Courts across Maryland and Washington, D.C.
• Client Communication: Provide clear and consistent communication to clients, guiding them through each stage of the legal process.
• Legal Strategy: Develop and implement litigation strategies, managing the discovery process and leading negotiations.
• Leadership: Manage a significant caseload while demonstrating strong leadership qualities and guiding junior staff and legal teams.
• Courtroom Advocacy: Participate in trials, ensuring thorough representation and effective advocacy for clients.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Maryland.
• At least 3 years of trial courtroom experience is required.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a legal team to achieve positive case outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with clients.
• Strong commitment to delivering optimal results for clients and excelling in complex legal cases.
• Ability to work in a professional office environment in Baltimore, MD.
• Availability to work a full-time, 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, onsite.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Maryland State Bar.
