Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation cases, with a primary focus on patent disputes.
• Draft, file, and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation-related documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on patent law and other intellectual property issues to support litigation strategies.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
• Manage all phases of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, managing document production, and conducting depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings, including examining witnesses and presenting arguments in court.
• Collaborate with technical experts and advisors to develop expert reports and testimony that support clients' positions in litigation.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in intellectual property law, particularly patent law, to provide informed and strategic legal counsel to clients.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and strategic decisions.
• Balance multiple litigation matters and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of work remains high.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, with a strong emphasis on patent litigation.
• Experience as a federal judicial law clerk is strongly preferred.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for admission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
